Sheep’s wool naturally produces lanolin, once the sheep have been sheered the lanolin is then processed out of the wool!
When using wool as a diaper cover, lanolin then needs to be added back in to that wool in order to enhance it’s water repelling abilities and also neutralize the urine it comes in contact with.
